Farm situated in the heart of the flat of Catania, built at the end of 800's by Nicosia Barons, initially given to the production of grapes for must, was then turned into an agrumeto, specialized in the cultivation of "Orange of Sicily". The buildings, refurbished with great care and passion by Eva La Malfa, range around a courtyard, an ideal location for outdoors events, and are articulated as follows: the "Palmento"(the room where farmers used to press grapes for the wine production) has been converted into a spectacular dining room containing 150 seats. The "Masseria"(characteristic construction of Sicilian country, in which lived the Mètayer or tenant ("Massaro" o "Mezzadro") is composed by a comfortable hall with a bar, as well as by a first floor intended as main house. Bedrooms have been obtained from "Farmhouses". Bedrooms are comfortable locals with bathroom, air conditioner, tv, and are furnished in a sober style, with "Arte Povera" furniture and forged iron beds.

The 16x8 meters newly built swimming pool, located in the garden neighbouring the Farmhouse, offers to ours guests moments of relax and recreation, to enjoy the surrounding nature under the Sicily's warm and cosy Sun. The pool is equipped both for adults and children. Moreover, in the warm summer evenings it is possible to organize party, music concerts, events and banquets around the pool, so benefitting of that  magic atmosphere that the  "Masseria Portiere Stella" Farm-Holidays  is able to create for its guests.
